A Chi massage machine—often called a Chi Swing Machine or Chi Vitalizer—is a passive exercise device designed to promote relaxation, circulation, and energy flow by gently swinging your legs side-to-side while you lie flat on your back. It mimics the motion of a fish swimming and is inspired by principles from Chinese medicine and Tai Chi.
Main Purposes and Claimed Benefits:

Improves circulation – Enhances blood and oxygen flow throughout the body.
Promotes spinal alignment – The rhythmic motion may help decompress and realign the spine.
Encourages relaxation – Helps reduce stress, anxiety, and muscle tension.
Supports energy flow (Qi) – Based on Eastern philosophy, it aims to balance your body’s energy.
Aids digestion – Gentle abdominal movement may help with bloating and sluggish digestion.

Infraphil heat lamp (use at own risk) self administered option only, $10 per day
An Infraphil heat lamp, made by Philips, is a therapeutic infrared lamp used primarily for pain relief and muscle relaxation. It's a form of infrared light therapy that emits infrared radiation, which penetrates the skin and warms underlying tissues. These lamps were especially popular in the mid-20th century and are still used by some people today.
Common Uses of a Philips Infraphil Heat Lamp:
Relieving muscle pain and stiffness
– Helps increase blood flow and loosen tight muscles.Joint pain relief
– Useful for arthritis or general joint discomfort.Neck, shoulder, and back tension
– Can ease stress-related tension or muscle knots.Improving circulation
– The heat stimulates blood flow, which can promote healing.Warm-up before exercise or physiotherapy
– Warms muscles before stretching or physical therapy.
How It Works:
The Infraphil emits infrared radiation, a type of electromagnetic radiation that we perceive as heat. When applied to the body from about 30–50 cm away, the heat penetrates the top layers of skin and reaches muscles and joints, promoting relaxation and pain relief.
Safety Tips:
Only use on bare skin, not through clothes.
Limit sessions to 10–20 minutes per area no more than 3 times a day.
Keep a safe distance to avoid burns (usually around 30–50 cm).
Not suitable for people with certain medical conditions (e.g., circulatory disorders, skin sensitivity, pacemakers) pregnant etc without your own doctor’s advice.
