STUDIO 1 (Lee Steere) Elysian Bridgetown – Studio 1 Unwind in peaceful countryside comfort just minutes from Bridgetown’s main street. Elysian Bridgetown offers a serene rural escape surrounded by panoramic valley and river views, birdsong, and big open skies, perfect for those seeking quiet, space, and relaxation.Studio 1 captures the morning light beautifully, with breathtaking sunrise views across the valley and river. Step out onto the spacious wrap-around deck to soak in the scenery, wander the front paddock or garden terraces, or simply relax and breathe in the peace of the countryside.Inside, the open-plan studio it features a comfortable king-size bed that can be converted to twin singles on request with advance notice on booking. Reverse-cycle air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, and cozy seating ensure year-round comfort. Entertainment includes a large 55” LED TV and DVD player, with a selection of movies provided (no Wi-Fi, though line of sight to the tower).The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for easy meal preparation, a 4-burner gas cooktop, microwave, kettle, toaster, toasted-sandwich maker, full-size fridge/freezer, pots, pans, utensils, and crockery all overlooking the ever-changing country light through large windows.We provide quality linen and towels (darker towels available on request), plus basic toiletries, a hairdryer, iron, and ironing board. The modern bathroom includes a generous large shower, toilet, and vanity. Guests staying longer are welcome to use the shared washing machine beneath Studio 4 during daylight hours (not at sunset or after dark).By prior arrangement, guests may meet our resident peacock or some of the wildlife currently in care. Your host is a registered wildlife carer who often looks after orphaned native animals such as ducks, joeys, possums, birds, and reptiles.You’ll also find The Bell of Bridgetown near the homestead, guests may ring it at 12 noon or 6 pm during their stay (by prior arrangement as it is on the private house level). Relax in cozy seating, or enjoy a movie night with the LED TV and DVD player (DVDs supplied, no Wi-Fi but line of sight to tower).The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for easy meal preparation, including a 4-burner gas cooktop, microwave, kettle, toaster, toasted-sandwich maker, full-size fridge/freezer, pots, pans, utensils, and crockery, though no oven.
